This two-day workshop is designed to develop your writing process, while working on your next bestselling novel. Write on the River is an interactive, intimate and intensive retreat and is limited in the number of participants.

We recommend each attendant come with a new project/idea for the retreat as we can then start fresh. However, it is your choice whether you want to work on a new book, a work in progress, or revise an old manuscript since you're the boss.

NY Times Bestselling author of over 65 novels, Bob Mayer and Debbie Cavanaugh a story streamer who has worked with NY Times Bestsellers including a #1 Author.

Location: Our house on the Tennessee River, outside of Knoxville, TN.

While that is the formal schedule, the reality is the entire weekend is spent discussing the writing process as well as the evolving state of publishing. We start each day after breakfast. While the overall format is informal, we do make sure each person gets their fair amount of time regarding their story.

Goals include:

Getting your novel down to one sentence of 25 words of less.

Filling out the conflict box.Identifying and then refining your creative writing process.

Outlining your novel.

Discussing which publishing path is the right one for each participant.
